Hazard Mitigation Planning/Disaster Recovery Management: 1997-2003

Holland Consulting Planners, Inc.,  provided  the City of Washington with turnkey hazard mitigation and  hurricane recovery following Hurricanes Fran and Floyd, including preparation of HMGP, CDBG, and CHAF applications, development of program guidelines, planning support, project management, construction contract administration, and resident inspection for the following programs:

• Hurrican Fran HMGP Program (40 elevations/21 acquisitions
• Hurricane Fran CDBG-DRI Program (8 relocations/6 rehabilitations
• Hurricane Floyd HMGP Program (27 SF acquisitions/44-unit multi-family acquisition and tenant relocation project
• Hurricane Floyd CHAF Program (19 relocations/rehabilitations)
• Preparation of the Beaufort County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan
